For horizontal and loose bouquets, the “egg” concept allows the designer to insert stems from all angels while keeping them in place during the design process. No longer is the designer tethering to the bouquet.
The “pillow” follows the same principals as the “egg”, resting on top of the vessel’s rim, allowing stems to stay in place and stay hydrated without getting crushed. Because the mechanic rests on top of the container, stems can be inserted around the rime, appearing to spill gracefully over the vessel’s edge.
