Witch
Hazel is a fall flowering shrub that becomes available to the
floral trade in early to mid October. Upon first arrival the
branches may have withering foliage which is unattractive and
should be removed. Once removed Witch Hazels spidery-like blossoms
are revealed.
Above are two pictures from the
same bunch of Witch Hazel. The lower image shows the spidery-like
flowers in better detail.
Extracts from the bark, leaves
and seeds of Witch Hazel contain medicinal properties that have
been used for centuries to help heal numerous ailments.
Please consult with your sales representative for this weeks
