Black Velvet Hybrid Delphinium generally comes in a 5 stem bunch. Black Velvet's stems can be quite large having a girth of 1/4" up to 1/2" thick or more at the base. The flowers of hybrid Delphinium are much larger than the flowers found on the Volkenfreiden or Royal Delphinium varieties.   

Vase life ranges form 4 to 10 days depending on bud stage and environmental conditions.
