Hybrid Delphinium generally comes in a 5 stem bunch. Hybrid Delphinium stems can be quite large... having a girth of 1/4" up to 1/2" thick or more at the base. Their stems are hollow. The flowers of hybrid Delphinium are much larger than the flowers found on the Volkenfreiden or Royal Delphinium varieties.   

Vase life ranges form 4 to 10 days depending on bud stage and environmental conditions.
