This beautiful flower is botanically known as Euphorbia flugens... it also goes by the common name of "Scarlet Plume". Upon arrival of this or any Euphorbia give them a fresh cut and then sear the stems with a flame to to stop the bleeding... and prevent dehydration. Euphorbia sap may irritate sensitive skin. Vase life is 7 to 10 days.
