Spanish Lavender is generally available long before English Lavender becomes available. It is similar in appearance to English Lavender except it produces a cone shaped flower head with a single lavender flower emerging from the top of the cone. The foliage is very fragrant.

This small fragrant flower was originally native to the Mediterranean region but is now grown on the west coast as a commercial crop.

Spanish Lavender has a vase life of 5 to 7 days depending on bud stage and environmental conditions. Spanish Lavender air dries quite well and retains if fragrance.
