Lisianthus is botanically known as Eustoma grandiflorum. These long lasting... ever elegant flowers have four petals with a ruffled edge. Lisianthus is available in single and double flower types. The flower stems are phototropic... which means they bend towards light. Today's hybrid varieties originated from a Colorado native wildflower called "Tulip Gentian" or "Prairie Getian", which can be found growing on our eastern plains.

Lisianthus is considered a medium form flower with a vase life varies from 7 to 14 days depending on bud stage and environmental conditions.
