Lupine is botanically known as Lupinus. It is an immensely popular garden perennial that is winter hardy in Colorado. Lupine is frequently used for spring weddings, and in spring arrangements or bouquets.

Lupine is considered a large line flower with vase life of 5 to 10 days depending on bud stage and environmental conditions.
