Bliss
is the fourth largest grower of Roses in Ecuador. The farm has
been in business for over 20 years and utilizes the latest in
proprietary hydroponic Rose growing technology. Their expertise in
growing "High Quality" large headed roses is evident as
soon as the retail florist receives their first bunch of Bliss Roses.
Bliss Roses generally have larger
than normal head size. Color saturation is consistent throughout
the petals. The stems are strong and straight and the foliage is
clean with a glossy green appearance. Bliss Roses are cut per
order, which means your roses cut the day before shipping, then
shipped retail ready to Stevens & Son the next day.
Once harvested Bliss roses are
re-hydrated, then packaged in bunches using high quality packing
materials. The stems of every bunch is wrapped in a wet cotton
hydrating material and then sealed with a poly bag to prevent the
rose from becoming dehydrated during shipping. Bunches are then
packed in extra strong boxes which helps to prevent physical
damage while being transported from Ecuador to Stevens. Cold gel
packs are inserted into every box of Bliss Roses to help maintain
a consistent temperature, keeping the "cold chain"
intact.
