A Stevens and Son "Home Grown" flower
Ornamental Peppers are sometimes called "Christmas Pepper". Ornamental Peppers are botanically known as Capsicum annuum. Stevens and Son grows a crop of Ornamental Peppers that becomes available mid to late fall with the crop lasting until early winter. Our bunches are quite long measuring 36" or more. The peppers run between 3" to 4" in length in shades or orange, red, and yellow. Vase life varies... the foliage will wither within a few days, but the peppers can last up to two weeks. Commercially grown Ornamental peppers should not be eaten.
