Aspidistra is also known as Cast Iron. In addition to being a very hardy and a long lasting floral green... it doubles as an extremely easy to care for house plant. Botanically it is known as Aspidistra elatior. Originally Aspidistra was native to China, but is now grown in temperate areas of North America for the floral and green plant industries. 

Aspidistra is sold as a 10 stem bunch. Leaf length varies from 14" to 20" with each leaf having a 6" stem. Individual leaflets tend to point either right or left which is evident in the picture. Vase life is outstanding with individual leaves lasting from 14 to 21 days depending on age and environmental conditions.
