Aspidistra 'Milky Way' is also known as Speckled Cast Iron. In addition to being a very hardy and a long lasting floral green... it doubles as an extremely easy to care for house plant. Botanically this variety is known as Aspidistra elatior 'Milky Way'. Originally Aspidistra was native to China, but is now grown in temperate areas of North America for the floral and green plant industries. 

Aspidistra is sold as a 10 stem bunch. Leaf length of 'Milky Way' varies from 14" to 20" with each leaf having a 6" stem. Individual leaflets of 'Milky Way' tend to point vertically. Vase life is outstanding with individual leaves lasting from 14 to 21 days depending on age and environmental conditions.
