This beautiful Aspidistra is botanically known as Aspidistra elatior 'Variegata'. In addition to being a very hardy and a long lasting floral green... it doubles as an extremely easy to care for colorful house plant.  Originally Aspidistra was native to China, but it is now grown in temperate areas of North America for the floral and green plant industries. 

Aspidistra is sold as a 10 stem bunch. Leaf length of Variegated Aspidistra varies from 14" to 20" with each leaf having a 6" stem. Individual leaflets of Variegated Aspidistra tend to point either right or left. Vase life is outstanding with individual leaves lasting from 14 to 21 days depending on age and environmental conditions.
