Cyperus alternifolium is commonly known as Umbrella Palm. Occasionally its called Umbrella Plant or Sedge. This variety of Cyperus is considered a medium accent green. Bunches are long measuring 24" to 36" or more... most of which is a bare stem with the foliage resting at the very top of the stem. Vase life is excellent with stems lasting 21 days or more depending on age and environmental conditions.
