Photinia
foliage is harvested from a small evergreen shrub that is commonly used as a
hedge plant in the southeastern United States. The boldly colored foliage
you see pictured above is actually the plants new spring growth.
When mature the foliage turns
dark green.
Photinia foliage is hardy and
easy to work with. Its burgundy foliage adds unique color and
texture to floral arrangements.
