"Christmas Heliconia" is native to South America, but is grown commercially in Hawaii as a tropical cut flower. Christmas Heliconia is sold by the stem with each stem having one medium sized flower. Each stem measures between 40" to 48" or more in overall length. Vase life is excellent... with the flowers lasting 10 to 14 days. Christmas Heliconia needs to be kept warmer than your every day flowers... with a preferred temperature of 65 degrees.
