"Heliconia Tropic Fleur" is native to Central and South America, but is grown commercially in Hawaii as a tropical cut flower. Heliconia Tropic Fleur is sold by the stem with each stem having one medium sized flower. The stems of this exotic flower measures between 40" to 48" in overall length and are smaller in diameter than most Heliconia varieties. Vase life is excellent... with the flowers lasting 10 to 14 days. Heliconia Tropic Fleur needs to be kept warmer than your every day flowers... with a preferred temperature of 65 degrees.
