"Andrea" Protea is commercially grown in Australia and Hawaii floral trade. Andrea is a hybrid Protea created by cross breeding other commercially available Protea. Its large reddish flower head makes Andrea useful for tropical holiday arrangements.

Protea Andrea can be safely kept in the cooler with other cut flowers providing the temperature is at or above 36 degrees. Vase life is excellent... with the flowers lasting 2 to 3 weeks.
