"Protea Niobe" is another industry adopted name for this wonderful... long lasting form flower. Its botanical name is Protea nerifolia 'Niobe'. All feather type Proteas are heavy drinkers... so its a must to keep their container full. Protea Niobe can be safely kept in the cooler with other flowers providing the temperature is at or above 36 degrees. Vase life is exceptional at 2 to 3 weeks. Protea Niobe flowers dry quite well. To air dry Protea, just hang them upside down in a dark area.
