Sandersonia

Sandersonia, (sand-er-so-nia), also known as Chinese Lantern Lily is botanically known Sandersonia aurantiaca. This beautiful seasonal flower has yellowish to orange flowers.

Originally native to Southern Africa, Sandersonia is now commercially grown in New Zealand, Holland and North American as a seasonal commercial cut flower crop. Sandersonia contains a compound called colchicine which can be toxic to humans and pets.

Sandersonia is seasonally available and sold in bunches of 10 stems. The vase life varies from 5 to 7 days depending on bud stage and environmental conditions. Please consult with your salesperson for this weeks availability.
